Steve Burkholder
One of the more experimental, daring artists on the label, Steve Burkholder is a drummer and percussionist who has had a lifelong fascination with sound and music produced by non-traditional sources. His upcoming solo recordings for Deep Lever center around homemade instruments made of found objects.
Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, he has also lived in Seattle, Denver and Chicago (where he now resides). As a drummer, he has played and recorded in many situations, and currently performs in the Chicago area.
By day, Steve works in the web department of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. He likes beer, coffee, and weird movies.
His upcoming release will be announced in the near future.
